I recently changed what I collect to focus on world silver crowns. I was really drawn to the large coins with beautiful designs where many can be purchased fairly inexpensively. I try to purchase certified coins in grades of AU58 or above or at an affordable grade. So follow me on my quest to assemble my collection of Silver Crowns.
I'd call this a crown. Latin American collectors tend to allow crowns of down to 20 grams. Also this is a continuation of Brazil's largest circulating silver denomination, reduced in silver wt due to inflation. I bid on a run of these at an auction in SP, Brazil, but got none.
