I recently changed what I collect to focus on world silver crowns. I was really drawn to the large coins with beautiful designs where many can be purchased fairly inexpensively. I have this beauty also. Con grades on the Brazilian.
I'd call this a crown. Latin American collectors tend to allow crowns of down to 20 grams. Also this is a continuation of Brazil's largest circulating silver denomination, reduced in silver wt due to inflation. I bid on a run of these at an auction in SP, Brazil, but got none.
