I recently changed what I collect to focus on world silver crowns. I was really drawn to the large coins with beautiful designs where many can be purchased fairly inexpensively. I try to purchase certified coins in grades of AU58 or above or at an affordable grade. So follow me on my quest to assemble my collection of Silver Crowns.

These Mexican silver coins strikingly illustrate accelerating inflation in the 20th Century !
The 1 peso of 1901 is 90% silver.
The 5 pesos of 1951, 25 pesos of 1968 and 100 pesos of 1978 are 72% silver and are all roughly the same weight.
