I recently changed what I collect to focus on world silver crowns. I was really drawn to the large coins with beautiful designs where many can be purchased fairly inexpensively. I try to purchase certified coins in grades of AU58 or above or at an affordable grade. So follow me on my quest to assemble my collection of Silver Crowns.
Comments: Really love the woman's head design on this coin. Not technically a Crown but it is the largest Polish coin minted from this era.

You might be interested in a more detailed, correct description of this coin from the 1932 series, which we have posted in our offer elsewhere on eBay to sell a 2 Zlote version with the same lovely image:
"Poland: 1932 Silver Coin 2 ZLOTE - This plain, 22 mm, 4.40 grams, pure silver (750) coin was minted in a series of 2, 5 and 10 zlotys, commencing in 1932. It depicts a calm, charming woman's head (not a "Madonna"), wearing a Renaissance-style head covering and a clover wreath, all on a background od radiating blades of grain. The design remained in circulation until September 1939 when Hitler attacked Poland, precipitating World War II."
