Comments: Obverse features liberty head facing left. Reverse features scepter above value.  I have seen this called the elf coin probably due to the elfin look of liberty on the obverse.  New Hebrides is part of a chain of Pacific islands that is now called Vanuatu.  Vanuatu was in the news recently after being devastated by cyclone Pam in March 2015.
