Comments: Obverse features head of King George IV. Reverse features St. George slaying a dragon. Quite a bit of wear on the reverse but the obverse is pretty nice for a fine grade. Edge lettering reads Secundo. Nice to add a proper crown (as my British friends would say) to my collection.

I'd have to say British crowns with the George/dragon reverse are some of the most attractive of the crown-sized coins. So many other coins just seem to go the heraldry route for the reverse design, which gets a bit boring in my opinion. Do you know of any crown sized coins with a more dynamic design like this one? I'm looking to add a few to my own collection. Thanks!

Check out the Central and South American crowns for some nice designs. Some of the Mexican crowns of the late 1800s and early 1900s have some nice designs. If you like George and the dragon you will probably also like the Mexico Cabalito Peso
