Comments:  This coin is part of the 2 coin Morgan and Peace set released by the US mint.  Kind of a gimmicky coin set but I do like the look of these coins.   $185 for the set is pretty expensive but at a mintage of 250,000 they should hold their value or even appreciate.

Comments:  I like the design of Peace dollars better than Morgan dollars.  The Proof Peace seems to have a higher relief that the Morgan.  Nice to see a classic in proof.  They will be releasing a reverse proof version of the Morgan and Peace later this year which I have an order in for.

Comments:  These were supposed to be released last year but were delayed due to a shortage of silver blanks.   Not a huge fan of the Morgan dollar but I just had to pick up a proof version of the coin.  The coin looks better in hand than the pics show.  I really struggle with imaging proof coins

Comments:  For the 100th anniversary of  the end of  Morgan dollar and the transition the peace dollar the US mint decided to restrike the Morgan and Peace Dollar coins.  Nice to see a perfect example of the coin.  I believe that I read recently that these will be struck again in 2022 with a proof finish

Comments:  For the 100th anniversary of  the end of  Morgan dollar the US mint decided to restrike the coin with mintmarks from each of the current mints, Philadelphia and Denver, as well as coins with CC and O privy marks for Carson City and Denver.  These were very popular coins with collectors and speculators when they went on sale causing the mint's website to crash during the ordering period. I believe all coins sold out within a couple hours or less.  I decided just to pick up a coin from Philadelphia and not deal with the website craziness.  Although I really don't collect US coins anymore, I did start there and it is kind of cool to see what a Morgan looks like in perfect condition.

Comments: This is the new silver eagle design for the 35th anniversary.  This coin was released with a type 1 silver eagle (original design) both with a reverse proof finish.  The official name of the set is the 2021 American Eagle One Ounce Silver Reverse Proof Two-Coin Set Designer Edition.  I haven't purchased anything from the US mint in almost 10 years but there are a couple products this year that I was interested in so I opened up may wallet.  Will be posting more in the next couple weeks.   I will say that the ordering process from the US mint leaves a lot to be desired.  This product's release date was changed then ordering it took me almost an hour and a half with website crashes and errors.  Looks pretty nice in hand, but very hard to photograph.
